We began our first starts in the greenhouse earlier this week and Luke has been poring through seed catalogs for both our old favorites and some interesting new varieties. It seems not so long ago that we were putting away our market supplies, turning over old beds, pulling out the dead tomato plants, and planting cover crops. But we are SO excited about the coming year and its prospects. Perhaps we’ll be able to harvest some of the strawberries, rhubarb, horseradish, and asparagus we planted last year! With several new investments in our farm, our work should be more productive and more efficient. We’re expanding our CSA shares and looking forward to seeing all our friends at the Phoenix Hill Farmer’s Market, while making new ones at a new market on Saturdays.
