What a great winter it’s been. The temperatures have been so mild that we’ve been able to keep some crisp veggies in the ground under row covers for early Spring harvest. Salad mix, spinach, carrots, and the like have all become sweeter with the cold. We’re hoping this bodes well for a smooth transition into our 2012 farming season!
For information on how to acquire CSA membership, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will promptly send you an information sheet with an application attached. For your immediate consideration, however, here are the rough details:
$475 for 24 weeks (beginning early May and ending mid-November)
weekly pickup on Tuesdays from 3-6:30pm at the Phoenix Hill Farmer’s Market (the corner of Campbell and Market St. in downtown Louisville).
Otherwise, we offer a delivery service for an additional charge of $96 ($4/week). However, please note that applying for delivery does not guarantee the service, as we try to create a delivery route based on the applicants’ location and a timely, convenient route. Last year, for example, we delivered within the Watterson Expressway and in downtown New Albany.
